Located in the heart of the Alps, Switzerland to N borders with Germany and France to E with Austria and Liechtenstein to S with Italy. The Alps occupy about 60% of the territory and build a block of S ideal of a line that runs from Lake Geneva to that Constance. The climate presents significant climatic variations from region to region. The Canton Ticino has more gentle winters and summer rather hot, while Graubünden have a climate more cold and dry.
